Shipping policy


Where we ship

  • We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States (the 48 adjoining states).

  • At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Order processing times

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays), but during peak times order processing may take up to 10 business days.

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.

Shipping rates within the contiguous U.S.

  • Orders under 60 USD (before tax and after any discounts) ship at a flat rate of 4.99 USD for standard ground shipping.

  • Orders of 60 USD or more (before tax and after any discounts) qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous U.S.

  • From time to time, we may offer promotional shipping rates or free-shipping thresholds; any such offers will be clearly shown on our website and/or at checkout.

Standard delivery times

  • Standard ground shipping typically takes 3–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed; carriers may experience delays due to weather, high volume, or other factors outside our control.

  • Orders are not picked, packed, or shipped on weekends or major U.S. holidays.

Expedited shipping

  • Expedited shipping options (such as 2‑day or next‑day service, where available) may be offered at checkout.

  • Expedited shipping is billed at the carrier’s rate and does not qualify for flat-rate or free shipping discounts, regardless of order value.

  • Delivery estimates for expedited services are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Goathland Candles.

Order tracking

  • Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow your package’s progress.

  • Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after the carrier receives the package.

Shipping carriers

  • We primarily ship via major ground carriers, selecting the most reliable and economical option for each order.

  • The carrier used for your order may vary based on package weight, destination, and current service conditions.

Incorrect addresses and undeliverable packages

  • Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.

  • If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we can reship it to an updated address; additional shipping charges may apply.

Lost, stolen, or damaged packages

  • If your tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received your package, please first check with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier office, as packages are sometimes scanned early or mis-delivered nearby.

  • If your package is still missing after 2 business days, contact us at sales@goathlandcandles.com with your order number so we can help investigate with the carrier.

  • If your order arrives damaged, please email us at sales@goathlandcandles.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging. We will review your claim and, at our discretion, arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Markets, partner locations, and web orders

  • We do sell directly to customers at markets and selected partner locations listed on our website.

  • Shipping terms in this policy apply only to orders placed through our online store; in‑person purchases at markets or partner locations follow the policies of that specific event or retailer.

Local pickup and delivery

  • We do not currently offer local pickup or local hand-delivery for web orders; all online orders are shipped via carrier.

International shipping

  • We do not currently offer international shipping. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide rates and regions at checkout.

Policy updates

  • We may update this shipping policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, carriers, or rates. Any updates will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be revised accordingly.
